We've been in this business since about 1996 with the boers. It doesn't stay BOERing around here for long, especially around show season, or kidding time. Before we started in the boers it was dairy. I was the manager of a large dairy operation. After that I turned to the boers and I have to say I will never go back to the dairy does. though we do have 2 nubians. At the present there is about 40 to 60 on the place, about 10 of those are the "show" products of this year and previous strings. We have 3 bucks that we use during breeding season. Our largest buck is out of Vision Quest line, our "little" buck is a double Bulldog bloodline, and the middle buck that we use is a NSA'S Master Suemo, and Yabu bloodlines. We have two new young buck's this fall a Son of WAF AUSTIN SA out of LLGG TOUCH OF CLASS and a Double Bred Grandson of Colateral Damage. We only raise 40-50 babies a year 90% of them are sold for breeding stock the other 10% are kept for show or replacements. We feel that we are producing some of the top quality animals in Illinois.
